The mission of Laboratory Science Institute is to foster interest in science education, training and research, focused on the laboratory sciences.
The Laboratory Science Institute (LSI) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Longview, Washington. On a donation basis, LSI provides laboratory business succession planning assistance to the laboratory industry. The Laboratory Science Institute sponsors STEM related educational activities and programs for K-12 and other programs.
Scholarship assistance is available to science majors planning to attend Lower Columbia College in Longview, WA. The Laboratory Science Institute has the ability to partner with various firms and organizations for the purpose of pursuing grant opportunities for research in the laboratory sciences.
The EPA test methods are EPA-approved procedures for measuring the presence and concentration of physical and chemical pollutants; evaluating properties, such as toxic properties, of chemical substances; or measuring the effects of substances under various conditions. The EPA does not release test methods for all chemicals, but only those which it regulates.
